Chevrolet Special Deluxe Coupe is a frame off build. The all-steel body painted in 1990 Metallic blue is stunning in the sunlight. Keeping to a classic hot rod build running a 235 ci 6-cylinder. This is a showstopper with a polished Wayne valve cover, polished Wayne finned aluminum side cover, Offenhauser 2 carb intake. The Tremec 5-speed transmission shifts smooth. The unmistakable sound is thanks to the split Fenton Headers and dual exhaust.The '40 drives like a dream with power steering. Has front disc brakes aided by a dual-reservoir brake booster that provides strong assist. The 12 volt system gives bright driving lights and LED rear turn signals, driving and brake. Upgraded to 2-speed electric wipers. A nice feature is the under-dash courtesy lights. Keeping the dash clean the original dash has been restored. The sounds system has the classic look but modern AM/FM digital tuner, Bluetooth built in, a USB port, and two auxiliary in puts.Leather interior with powered driver's seat, seat belts and a custom center console/arm rest. The beautiful original steering wheel has been restored. The full dash has been painstakingly restored to keep the '40's classic nostalgia ambiance.
