1976 DATSUN 280Z
1976 Datsun 280Z

The Nissan S30 (sold in Japan as the Nissan Fairlady Z and in other markets as the Datsun 240Z, then later as the 260Z and 280Z) was the first generation of Z GT two-seat coupes, produced by Nissan Motors, Ltd. of Japan from 1969 to 1978. One of the most successful sports car lines ever produced, the trend-setting S30 was designed by a team led by Yoshihiko Matsuo, the head of Nissan’s Sports Car Styling Studio. Nissan released the Datsun 280Z model for the U.S. market in the 1975 model year.

This hot little car is powered by an inline 6-cylinder, 168ci (2753cc) engine that puts out 149 horsepower that feels like 249 as you shift through the 4-speed transmission going down the road. It is the original engine equipped with the Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection system that is known for its performance and reliability. The engine bay and the powerplant itself are very clean, as is the rest of the coupe.

Outside the car is in great condition and is sporting a newer silver paint job over a professionally installed ground effects kit giving the car a very unique look. All of the glass and stainless are in excellent condition. With the car sitting on super-stylish 17? Pribat wheels and like-new 215/45 tires it looks like no other 280 on the road.

Inside the interior is immaculately clean and fully equipped. The seats are in great shape, as is all the carpeting with just a little wear in the hatchback. The car has a full set of functioning gauges and a “period correct” aftermarket Audiovox AM/FM/Cassette for you to finally get some use out of that box of tunes stashed in the attic in old school style! This is a really straight and fun “Z” car ready for you to get out and have some fun in this summer. There are not a ton of them out there that are rust free and look this great.

It is being offered at only $15,900.00!

This car is being represented for a collector in the Seattle, Washington area.
